LP is bringing it back to the beginning with the very first instrument ever produced by LP Founder, Martin Cohen.
LP was born in 1964, when Cohen built the first set of LP wood bongos based on the desires of local musicians.
This model is a replica of the first set, featuring satin mahogany drums, original 1964 head graphics, natural rawhide heads, and a special LP commemorative badge.
These bongos are built with 6-3/4"Ν and 8-1/4"Ν diameter shells and outfitted with traditional chrome-plated rims and hardware.
They are a solid set of drums with a ton of quality and nostalgia built into them.
"I could not be more excited to see the beautifully executed LP Original Bongos that represents the beginnings of Latin Percussion,"Ν said Martin Cohen, Founder of Latin Percussion.
