Shipping Details

If your order total is over $99 and shipping to a street address in the contiguous United States, it ships for free!

All other orders will receive our best negotiated shipping rates with UPS, FedEx or USPS and your shipping cost will vary depending on the weight of the package(s) and distance from our shipping warehouse.

Find out what the shipping costs will be by placing items in the shopping cart. To place the item in your cart, click the "Add to Cart " button.

Once you are viewing your shopping cart, a "zip code" text box appears allowing you to enter your zip code and calculate shipping rates for the items you are considering. Shipping Costs Are Estimated: Note that shipping costs may be higher than quoted in some rare cases, especially if you order oversized items, large quantities or if you are shipping to addresses outside of the contiguous United States. You will be notified prior to processing your order if shipping costs are greater than estimated.

In most cases, a FREE SHIPPING item will be delivered via UPS Ground. However, we may occasionally choose to ship an item via FedEx or USPS Priority Mail if it makes more sense.

 


 

Tracking your Shipment

We will send you an email containing the tracking number(s) as soon as your order ships. Product availability and processing time is displayed on each product page, just above the Add to Cart button. To view the status of your order, click the "Account" link located at the top right corner of every page.

 


 

Return Policy

By purchasing from X8 Drums you agree to the following terms:
Purchases made from this website are granted a thirty (30) day approval period from the date that the item ships. For orders that have multiple shipping dates due to product availability, the approval period is per item, not per order. Exceptions: We cannot accept returns or exchanges for printed or recorded material, didgeridoos*, replacement drum heads**, Build Your Own Cajon or Bongo kits and blemished drums.

If you decide not to keep the merchandise, you may ship it back to our warehouse, in the original carton with all accompanying packaging and paperwork. Returned items must be shipped back within ten days upon completing return request form. Items sent back after the ten day period will not be accepted for return. When we receive the item in its original condition, we will refund the amount of the purchase, less shipping costs and a 10% re-stocking fee. The customer is responsible for return shipping costs.

Customers can submit a return request by logging into their customer account, finding the order they wish to return and clicking the Return Items link. 

*Kindly note there are no returns on Didgeridoos. Playing a didgeridoo requires the player to press their mouth against the instrument's opening and rolling their lips to produce the desired sound. Due to the nature of playing the didgeridoo we do not allow returns. Shipping damage does not apply.

**Returns or exchanges will not be accepted for replacement drum heads. Please double-check with the manufacturer of your instrument to ensure that you are purchasing the correct head for your drum.

Please retain the shipping carton and all original packing materials. X8 Drums reserves the right to charge a 20% restocking fee if items are not returned in their original packaging.

Website Security

When placing your order through the X8 Drums website your details are secure. The X8 Drums website uses SSL (which stands for "Secure Sockets Layer"), the de facto standard for Internet security. SSL is application protocol independent and provides encryption, which creates a secured channel to prevent others from tapping into the network; authentication, which uses certificates and digital signatures to verify the identity of parties in information exchanges and transactions; and message integrity, which ensures that messages cannot be altered en route.

 


 

Damaged Goods

In the unlikely event that you receive a product that is damaged or defective please inform us using this form. Photos of both the damaged item and shipping materials are required. All claims for damage or defective products must be made in writing and within three (3) business days of receipt.

Please retain the shipping carton and all original packing materials. There will be a 20% restocking fee if items are not returned in their original packaging.

After you notify us, we will send you a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number and instructions for your return and replacement.

 


 

Prices:

Prices, quantities, and availability of items on this website are subject to change. While we strive to provide a satisfying experience for all of our customers, if a listed item is sold, out of stock, differs or has changed in description, pricing, or attributes from what is listed on this website, we reserve the right to cancel any order that cannot be filled accordingly. Of course, in the event that a problem such as this occurs, we will contact you via email right away and offer substitutions.

 


 

Product Photos & Descriptions:

Product photos and descriptions including color, shading, and measurements may differ in appearance than the actual product you receive. While we strive to accurately display the characteristics of every product we offer, hand drums are hand made instruments and can vary in color, shading, size, and texture from the product photo and measurement descriptions on our site. If you're very specific on an exact color or size please call first before ordering to discuss your needs. It might be best in those cases to purchase locally. Please note if you order an instrument, receive it, and are not happy with the size, color, shading, sound, fit, finish, etc... you may return the product, within 30 days and with original packaging, for a product refund or store credit.
