  1. Bongos

The Bongos are a quality item. They sound great, and have a tool to keep them tuned. My son was extremely pleased with this gift!

  2. Great entry level drums!

Purchase these for my wife for Mother's Day; sounds like a funny gift but that's what she had been asking for! The drums look even better in person than they do on the website, so that was a pleasant surprise. As my experience with bongos is limited, I don't have anything to compare the sound to, but they do sound very good in my opinion for the cost. X8 drums has an outstanding selection, and customer service was way above average. The drums were shipped immediately and arrived early. Very good overall experience and I would definitely return for any percussion purchases!

  3. Great Bongos

I've had these for about a year now and they just continue to be great. I keep them right on my top closet shelf and bring them along almost any time I go out camping or to a gathering where I know instruments will be enjoyed. Still sound terrific (even after some negligent abuse from traveling, sunlight, heat, and dew). Though highly recommended, I still say anyone new to the instrument look through reviews and X8 info on other sets before making a final decision, there's lots of information out there and a lot of different sounds to make!
