Featuring a vibrant Autumn Days finish and a large 18" Sympatico® System Pretuned Synthetic Leather Head, this versatile gathering drum delivers warm, resonant bass tones along with crisp edge sounds that encourage musical exploration.
Available in both Short (10") and Tall (16") heights, these drums adapt to a variety of playing situations. The short version is comfortable for lap playing, while the tall version is ideal for floor seating, drum circles, classrooms, and collaborative music-making environments.
Built with a lightweight yet durable PVC shell, the Sympatico Gathering Drum is easier to transport and clean than traditional wood drums while still producing impressive projection and low-end response. The oversized playing surface is stable enough for multiple participants to play simultaneously, making it an excellent choice for schools, music therapy programs, community centers, and drum circles.
The included Sympatico® Pretuned Synthetic Leather Head offers excellent sound right out of the box and can be removed for use as a standalone hand drum. Players can create a wide range of sounds by striking different areas of the head or using hand muting techniques to shape the drum's voice.
Each drum includes a matching mallet with a shaft designed to complement the colorful Autumn Days shell pattern.
