LP Udu Drum Claytone #1 (LP1400-C1)

Absolutely love it! Not performance volume unless using a mic. I love it because I can sit on the couch, play it and no one else can hear it.

This udu is super, has a deep tone, easy to play. The shipping was very fast, had my udu in 2 days. I plan to buy more udu's from X8 drums!

I have 3 other LP udus (Mbwata, Utar and Udongo II), but this one may be my favorite. The tone is beautifully resonant and it lends itself to a wide variety of playing techniques. You can also get distinctly different pitches by striking different parts of the surface. This is the model I'd suggest to someone looking to buy one (or a first) udu.
