I have just received this bag, so I don't have a lot of experience with it yet, but I'm very pleased with my purchase. The construction quality is good, the padding is where it needs to be, and the fit is very good for the Mondo 14". A real bonus is the size and features of the pocket. There are actually two compartments and lots of loops for attaching other items. I had considered buying the Remo Deluxe Djembe bag, but went with the X8 bag because it has 2 straps for carrying the drum (like a backpack), vs. the Remo bag's 1 strap (like a sling). After loading up the drum and putting in on my back, I'm very happy I went with the X8 bag.
