World Drums

Drumming is a fundamental part of every culture across the world and each country or region has a unique own style of drums. These world drums represent the ingenuity of the respective culture that created a percussion instrument from the natural materials available, including trees, pots, rope, sinew and animal skins. Many of these drums are spiritually connected to the belief systems and religious practices within the cultures, or stand as status symbols for those skilled enough to master these distinct drums.
