This stand checks all the boxes. It's sturdy, light, easy to put up and take down, easy to adjust, and keeps your drum VERY secure. I've looked a lots of options and am glad I found this model by TOca. X* has the best price, as well. Buy this - you won't go wrong!

I needed to replace the lower grade raised stands that came with my Tycoon conga set (they're noisy and tedious to set-up/adjust). This stand is excellent - VERY sturdy and much easier to set up and adjust. It has nice pads that pivot (accommodates differences in various brands) and makes contact with a large swath of the barrel. It's got an attractive design and is well made, and it can adjust to hold all my drums at the exact same height from tumba to requinto. The only limitation is that it won't hold any but the smallest drum in position for seated play - but then it isn't designed to function as a floor stand. I'm definitely going to buy others for the rest of my set. Put this stand in your cart and buy it - you'll be glad you did.
