The PVC cracked and the beads fell out!
I had high hopes for this shaker, I really did...I thought because of the PVC it would stay intact longer than some other more flimsy shakers. To be fair, it lasted a good 9 months or so...and then I realized one day it made no sound! Upon inspection, I saw that there was a small crack in the PVC near the top and that the tiny beads were systematically falling out. I suppose I could try to repair it, but with the beating these shakers take (literally) when kids and energetic teens play them, it would only break again.
