The Meinl FWB400 Free Ride Series Wood Bongos are the preferred bongo model by many top percussionists. Exceptional sound qualities combined with a wide variety of colours make it the perfect bongo for the working musician.
The Meinl FWB400 Free Ride Series Wood Bongo Set utilizes the Meinl famous Free Ride system to hold the 7" Macho and the 8 1/2" Hembra securely together while allowing for total resonance. The shell walls a specially shaped for maximum projection, resonance and stability. These are important facts because they mean your bongos will sound their absolute best.
Comes with hand selected true skin cowhide heads secured with the SSR Safe and Sound Rim. The hardware is strong and chrome plated. Rubber caps at the bottom of the tuning lugs prevent scratches and other damage.
