World Drumming Record Sought
A drummer is getting ready to set a new world record. 411Mania reports that Andrew W.K. will drum for a straight 24 hours, starting Wednesday, June 19 at 7pm. Andrew is hoping to set the new world record for drumming in a retail store and the effort will be streamed live from the Oakley store in New York City’s Times Square. The drummer says that some drummers he would consider the best in the world will be joining him to support and cheer him on. Questlove of The Roots will be one of those supportive drummers.
