Orchestra Soloist Speaks Out on Love of Drums and Percussion

The Lansing State Journal interviews Lisa Pegher about her experience being a solo percussionist with the Lansing Symphony Orchestra in their article LSO features striking art of percussion. Pegher reflects upon the challenges of being a percussionists, including having to master a multitude of instruments. Pegher is also expected to own all of the instruments she plays which has led to an overcrowded apartment and storage unit. Pegher also discusses the challenge of making people listen to her performances instead of watching them. However, despite the obstacles, Pegher also has a deep resounding passion for percussion.
