Michigan Opens Doors to Music Therapy Conference

What happens when musicians, physicians, scientists and therapists all come together to discuss the ways music can benefit patients? Music, of course, therapeutic music. According to MLive.com, Western Michigan University is hosting a conference to not only allow professionals the ability to share research and network, but, to help educate the public about the benefits of music therapy. At the Music, Mind and Medicine ConferencePublic performances will include taiko drumming and a jazz quartet, and much more.
