    My first djembe. I had played 3 different djembes before i blindly bought this one. I was pleasantly surprised! I've owned this instrument for about a month now, and I really love it. The serpentine vinyl wrap is beautiful and colorful and hasn't scratched yet despite the dirtiness of my car. As a dance accompanist, this is a great tool to have. The bass can really fill a room, and it gets people grooving! While the drum wasn't as fibrous as I thought I would be, I can still get a nice brush sound moving my hand in a circle. Was my first purchase from X8, they delivered it timely and in good condition. Will hopefully update this later!
