Toca Curved Didgeridoos

Hand painted, lightweight and durable synthetic shell
Curved design represents a traditional style didgeridoo
Available in two finishes: Tribal Sun or Gecko

Digeridoos are among the most ancient of all instruments. Used by the Aboriginal people of Australia for centuries, over the past few years their unique sound has become popular world-wide. Toca’s new Curved Digeridoos offer that sound in an instrument that respects traditional design while featuring modern manufacturing techniques.

Curved Digeridoos start with lightweight and durable synthetic shells. These shells are formed with a gently S-curved design that replicates the look and feel of traditional organic didgeridoos. The shells are then hand-painted with original designs—dubbed Tribal Sun and Gecko—that evoke images of the Outback.

Toca’s Curved Digeridoos offer deep, sonorous tonality (they’re tuned to the key of “D”), authentic and colorful appearance, and ultra-durable construction. The result is an instrument that combines the best of the ancient and modern musical worlds.

If I can do it, anybody can. October 27, 2011

I previously have had no musical talent whatsoever...until I came across these awesomely curved didgeridoos from Toca!  I hardly understood music before, had no use for musicians (though many of my friends were), and only liked one kind of music.  I had always said that if I was in a band that I would play the kazoo, but this is a kazoo on steroids!  You won't believe your ears when you hear the amazing spectrum of sound that these didges are capable of making.  I've owned other, more traditional didges in the past, but they require so much more air to play than these.  The natural curve, with the thin synthetic outer shell creates a best-of-both-worlds type of a scenario...if you can hum it, you can didge it. It's just that easy!  It doesn't matter if you're new to music or a seasoned veteran of the didge, when you play this, you WILL sound awesome!
