Meinl Grant McFarland Video Contest
Want some cymbals? Want them for free? Can you shred like a metal maniac? This contest may be the answer to your drumming obsession, love of music or need to be part of something bigger than yourself: the release of a new line of cymbals.
Grant McFarland, drummer for This or the Apocalypse, is teaming up with Meinl Cymals in an effort to award a set of Meinl Classics Custom Series Cymbals to one lucky winner. Entering the contest is easy, just download “Toro” from the This or the Apocalypse album “Haunt What’s Left,” record yourself playing along with the track and submit it to the Meinl Grant McFarland Video Contest.
Once all entries are submitted, both Grant McFarland and Chris Adler from Lamb of God will judge you on your ability, style, and general drumming awesomeness.
Contest entries will be accepted April 1, 2011 through July 31, 2011, giving drummers plenty of time to perfect the necessary skills needed to claim the prize. For contest details and information, please go directly to the Meinl Grant McFarland Video Contest website.
