A Writing Career for Slipknot Drummer?

Joey Jordison, the drummer and songwriter for Slipknot, is releasing an album with his new band. According to Yahoo News, Joey says that writing songs for Scar The Martyr was about giving the people something they can hold on to. He says that he wasn’t interested in flash or persona this time around, which allowed him to write music that resonates with people. At this point in his life, he simply wants to write good music. The band’s debut album has no name, but Joey was quite busy working on it. He not only banged on the drums, he also played bass and rhythm guitar.
