The Toca Sympatico System Gathering Drums come standard with Sympatico™ System Pretuned Synthetic Leather Heads.

Their durable PVC shells are not only lighter in weight than wood counterparts, but are easier to clean, and project thunderous tones. Each Sympatico Gathering Drum includes a pair of mallets whose shaft matches the color of the drum shell. Note: These Sympatico Gathering Drums come equipped with Pretuned Synthetic Leather heads. We believe that these heads will give you the best sound out of the box. These drums are also compatible with the Pretuned Fiber Dot and Pretuned Fiber heads. These other heads are available for purchase separately.
