This replacement head is made ONLY for Toca Black Mambe Djembes. This will not work with Remo, Meinl or Tycoon Djembes.

This model is dyed black for the "Black Mamba" mechanically tuned djembe models.

NOTE: Returns will not be accepted for replacement drum heads. Please double-check with the manufacturer of your instrument to ensure that you are purchasing the correct head for your drum.

    X8 Drums Had in stock a replacement head for my Toca mechanical Black Mamba djembe - a drum sold by many stores and sites who, remarkably, do not offer replacement heads! In fact X8 was one of only two sites that had it in stock. And I'm really glad I did because shipment arrived quickly, and when I emailed a technical question about installation, I got a quick and helpful response by phone. These days such excellent customer service is priceless. Thanks X8 - I'll be back!
