This Rebana hand drum is hand crafted mango wood with a goatskin drum head. A traditional rope tuning system holds the head in place and creates traditional tones. Play it with your hands or with mallets. This hand crafted instrument made by artisans in Indonesia is also used as a unique home decor piece.
Approx 13" across by 8" high.
If you are looking for a drum that is wood and not synthetic, this is a great option. Great sound like a djembe but much lighter and more compact. Can't beat the price. On the negative side, the way in which this drum was shipped to me by X8 was not satisfactory. Am still waiting for a response.
