What's better than playing a Cajon, one of the most popular percussion instruments out there? How about building one! Meinl has created two different assembly sets so you can be your own do-it-yourself cajon builder.
This kit comes with a Baltic Birch (Betula) resonating body and an Ovangkol wood frontplate, both amazing percussion materials that will resonate strong and warm AND look amazing on stage or in your home.
Once your done building, your new Cajon will provide warm, deep bass tones and sharp, cutting snare slaps.
The kit comes with all parts necessary to build one of Meinl's popular cajons. Grab the instruction pamphlet to help you through this DIY project and once finished you can customize your instrument's finish by adding lacquer, wax, oil, or paint it with your own creative design.
