Dhol

The dhol is a drum widely used in India and very popular in modern Punjabi music. Dhol drums are large, two-headed drums that are typically strapped around the drummer for use while standing or walking, and played during different events, festivals and celebrations. This drum is played with mallets, sticks or with the hands and each side of the drum produces a different pitch when struck.
