Congas
With origins from African and Cuban traditions, conga drums are probably the most popular hand drums today.
Made from a variety of wood or from fiberglass, congas are available in different shapes and sizes and are sually played in sets of two to four with the fingers and palms of the hand. Congas are ultimately derived from African drums and are now very common in Latin music, including salsa music, as well as many other forms of American popular music.
