This X8 African Ghana Djembe measures 20" tall with a 10" diameter drum head. This size is great for kids, classrooms and adults who prefer a smaller drum for travel or to play standing up. The minimalist design showcases the beautiful characteristics of the Tweneboa wood grain and solid shell construction. By purchasing this djembe, you will help support communities and craftsmen in Africa.

Please note that each drum is hand-carved, by master carvers, and sizes will tend to slightly fluctuate. No two drums are exactly alike which makes each one a unique work of art.

  1. Very Nice

This drum is not too small and not too big but the sound is very nice. The price is right, too!

  2. Cool beats

Love it very much, always wanted one and now I have it.

  3. Quite Impressed

When purchasing an item, like a drum online - sight unseen and unheard - I tend to be a bit wary. However, we are quite impressed with this djembe. It was purchased for my 11 yr old son to play with the praise band at church. The drum is beautiful - I love that it was handcrafted in Ghana. The tone is gorgeous - much richer than it sounded online! We will be return customers!!

  4. Thanks

The djembe is wonderful. Exactly as described and pictured. I look forward to playing it at my synagogue soon. Thanks so much!
