The new use of elm wood as a frontplate with an effective resonating body made of rubber wood creates a unique instrument without losing any of the intended function. The glamorous veneer of the frontplate may attract attention whenever it is seen, but your audience will stick around to hear you play.
Featuring a full set of snare wires, which can be controlled using the knurled finger knob located on the side of the drum, the Elm Wood Snare Cajon employs Meinl uniqueness for functional design. The positioning of the knurled finger knob allows musicians to adjust the effect of the snare while playing. Want a lot of snare? Go ahead. Want to turn it off? That's your choice too. The knurled finger knob gives you the precision and sensitivity to change your snare as much as you want.
