The Kopf Percussion Birch Series Snare Cajon has a very crisp snare and slap plus a very punchy-low bass tone.

This cajon is constructed from the highest quality Baltic Birch Plywood available. The wood is carved thicker than any other cajon brand delivering a beautiful rich sound.

The dual 1/8" Baltic playing surfaces are attached with steel screws that are black oxide coated to prevent corrosion and can be adjusted to your liking. This design provides a very crisp snare slap and a very low punchy bass tone.

One of the playing surfaces has 4 non-adjustable snares and the other surface has no snares for a natural Peruvian tone. The semi-gloss finish is hand-rubbed to keep it as delicate as possible and preserve the tone of the wood while still providing protection.

4 steel reinforced rubber feet are on the bottom of the cajon for non-slip playing. The top of the cajon has a very comfortable 1" thick foam rubber seat with a polyester top.

All Kopf Percussion cajons are handcrafted in the USA.

    Beautiful Instrument!

I did a lot of research online prior to picking this cajon, and am I glad I did! This is a beautiful sounding cajon, and is beautiful to look at as well. Coaxing various tones are easy, and the bass has just a touch of snare buzz. Perfect!
