The Man of Steel soundtrack features quite a bit of steel, itself. Steel and wood and plastic. According to MusicFeeds, twelve of the best drummers in the world collaborated on the soundtrack. Heavy hitters for a heavy hitter, eh? The film is about Superman, after all, so that would require some great drumming. The soundtrack’s percussion line-up included Sheile E., Pharrell Williams, Josh Freese, Danny Carey, Matt Chamberlain, John JR Robinson, and Trevor Lawrence, Jr. Composer Hans Zimmer has a reputation for being able to combine the old with the new, so it shouldn’t surprise us that he banged out this bit of brilliance.
