Music Heals Pain and More

Music therapy has been around for decades, yet, it is only recently beginning to find a home in hospitals, clinics and therapeutic settings on a regular basis. Neon Tommy reports that there has been an increase in the visibility and certifications of music therapists across the country, especially as more research is devoted to the benefits that music has on the brain for healing physical and emotional trauma, including that of premature infants.
