Drumming can be a great exercise regimen and science can prove it. Coloradoan.com reports that drumming may be an unconventional way to exercise, but it definitely gives people a full body workout. An English study in 2008 claimed that a drummer’s heartbeat can reach up to 191 beats per minute and the act can burn hundreds of calories. Drummers already know that they receive a great workout during every gig, since they find themselves drenched in sweat and tired at the end of the night.
