A Music Festival that Appreciates Quiet Times
This weekend, people in Portland, Oregon, will get the chance to experience the city’s Quiet Music Festival. The annual event exists to help people experience calming and soothing sounds, as opposed to the loud, invigorating music festival-goers are typically exposed to. NPR tells us the organizers have been working hard to find more pillows and carpets for visitors to recline upon, hoping to soothe them right into a gentle nap or two.
