Excellent DVD for ideas and FAST learning

Posted by KRL on 28th Jul 2014

This DVD is an excellent resource--all the parts to each rhythm are presented several times, at varying speeds, and the over-the-shoulder shots show exactly how to play each one. But everything is well-integrated, so it makes for great background listening as you try to catch up and just feel the various parts--then it's on to the next one. Having the cuts arranged with the similarly timed ones together also means that you can play the parts you just learned along with the next ones, in endless variations. Highly recommended for those trying to learn lots of variations to introduce at drum circles, as well as those who need experience playing with a tightly knit ensemble that is clearly having lots of fun.

    lots of rhythms

A good resource for someone who feels "stuck" playing the same rhythms over and over.
