Inspired by the look and sound of the handmade kalimbas of old, ours features a natural coconut shell with a wooden faceplate and whimsical, hand-carved gecko art that pays homage to the kalimba’s tribal heritage. To get the sound just right, you can easily fine tune the pitch and tone of the seven individual keys simply by turning the two screws on top of the instrument. Longer keys have a lower pitch, while shorter keys have a higher pitch.

Playing the kalimba is easy and fun for all ages and skill levels, and it makes a great addition to your instrument collection. Just hold the kalimba in your hands, playing the keys with both thumbs at once or just the one thumb to create soothing, enchanting melodies.
