You can control variances in tempo and tone of this clacker simply by adjusting the speed of the handle movement. Loose pieces of rectangular-shaped mahogany hardwood pieces are secured together by two strands of rope so they move up and down easily and freely, slapping against one another when manipulated to give you a variety of creative percussion patterns and sounds. The handles fit comfortably between your fingers to make playing easier. Clackers are approximately 10” long.
