I think the stand is really pretty and I'd still rather have it than an ugly metal stand. It opens and takes more space than I expected so I tied the string to make it a bit taller an take less space. I also thought it came with a strap to secure the djembe, but it doesn't. I've got a nice leather belt on it and it looks like it came with it. It feels a little shaky and I've tightened the screws as much as possible. All in all, I do like it because it looks so much nicer than a traditional stand.
