The Tycoon Percussion Makah Claves are hand crafted from exotic Makah. These are larger traditional African style claves with a striker.

To play, the clave lays in one hand between the fingertips and heel, and the space between the clave and the palm creates a sound chamber. This model has a cutaway sound chamber designed to create added volume and tonal qualities.
