I bought this because the cheaper x8 branded version was out of stock. Overall, I'm pretty happy. The largest of the three wood blocks is a little dull sounding compared to the other two so I have to hit it harder to create an equally rich sound. I also had to ask for a replacement mallet as the one that arrived was badly warped. X8 sent a new mallet in just a couple days and I'm very pleased with their service.
