African styled djembe drums from Toca. Lathed top grade Mahogany shells with Alpine rope runners and authentic goatskin heads.
Hand Lathed top grade Plantation Mahogany Wood. Shells are kiln dried with up to 20 coats of teak oil to protect and preserver the wood. All Drums feature low stretch Alpine Rope with braised cores. Authentic Goatskin heads with hair for greater tone range.
- Toca is committed to being green and environmentally-friendly. The
wood we use is harvested from a plantation in Indonesia, where our drums
are then lathed and handcrafted by local musicians. This carefully managed
resource is much easier on the environment than wood taken from primary
forests.
