I just bought my first djembe about a month ago. I have never played djembe or known anyone who has played, so it's been a fun and interesting experience. I decided to purchase a strap so that I can get some nice full bass sounds in my house. I am 6'4" and this strap seems to fit me well. I have never owned any other kind of strap or drum so I don't have much to compare it too. The back padding is comfortable and I'm sure it would remain comfortable for an hour or two of playing with no problem. I would recommend this product.

The strap is great, comfortable and well made. Not a traditional strap, and thats fine cause I am not trying to replicate traditional African straps.
If you are looking to make your own, there are plenty of tutorials for the D.I.Y. people on making traditional African Straps for djembe. I just needed an inexpensive strap, and this one it perfect.

Very comfortable ,good support. Friends wanted to know where it was purchased. Straps could be a little longer for tall people.
