We call this the Thunder Drum, a special effects instrument that produces a cool thunderous tone that is made by rolling or shaking the drum.

Also known as a Spring drum, the tube shaped has a wire spring that resonates the sound. All sorts of special effects sounds can be made with this simple instrument; slide a stick on the spring, cup your hand over the open end while you play or slap it for a nice striking sound.

The drum measures 3.5" diameter by 10" long, and has a hand painted thunder storm cloud scene on the outside.
