Toca has recently revolutionalized the djembe market with the introduction of PVC-shell djembes. Surprisingly musical, the PVC is shaped into perfect form, then wrapped in unique finishes and topped with a traditional goatskin head. The result offers all the landmark tonal qualities of traditional wooden djembes with less weight and lower costs.

Remo key-tuned djembes are manufactured with Remo's proprietary Acousticon shell material. This advanced drum shell material has excellent projection capabilities and enhanced low-pitched fundamentals. Added benefits are strength, weather-resistance and reduced weight.
