This adds a whole lot to the cajon, nearly making the cajon a full drum kit. It is well made and works flawlessly. My only gripe is the cost seems high for what it is. But as the saying goes...you get what you pay for.

Love the heck stick. Not so sure about the side kick yet. But they fit really well on the cajon. Getting better all the time.

Nice Addition to any Cajon

The Heck Stick produces a nice jingle and is located at good spot on the cajon for easy access. The adjustable Velcro strips work well to adjust the tone and location. For a duo or trio acoustic performance, the sound level is just right. The jingles tent to get drowned out if more instruments (more guitars, bass, more vocals) are added. The Side Kick is also a nice addition. Although it takes a little time to get used to it, the Side Kick clicking sound is very audible for many situations. In other words, the clicking can be soft or very loud to cut through the band when needed. Although the entire unit is a bit pricey for what it is, the construction and quality is excellent. I recommend this add-on to any cajon setup… if you can afford the hefty cost. If not, I’m sure a semi-skilled hobby person can make something similar in the workshop.
Expensive but works well!
