The djun-djun is an essential part of the djembe ensemble. It is the bass voice of the group, maintaining the basic rhythmic pulse so that the other instruments can create the group's complex syncopation and poly-rhythmic layers. Remo manufactures four drum sizes which are available in two finishes. Each drum is equipped with Remo's Mondo drumheads and is easily tuned with the Swivel key included
