The rope tuned Paulo Mattioli Dununs are lightweight and are equipped with the NUSKYN™ Type 5 aluminum channel drumhead with Clear Dot sound control producing a focused bass tone and attack that will be the foundation for any drum ensemble. The drums are constructed with Light weight ACOUSTICON™ drum shell material with a METALIZED™ bronze textured finish for added durability with a rustic elegant look. Tuning the drum is made easier with the high strength braided polyester rope.

About Paulo Mattioli

PAULO MATTIOLI is a world-renowned multi-percussionist, educator and instrument designer. He has performed with superstars Kenny Loggins, Lenny Kravitz, Mickey Hart, and Babatunde Olatunji. Paulo graduated with honors and holds a bachelor's degree in music, communications and visual arts from the University of San Diego. He received a U.S. scholarship for his groundbreaking research in the use of drumming for communication within West African Culture.

A Signature artist for Remo World Percussion, he is the designer of the Paulo Mattioli Signature Series Djembe and Dun Dun drums for Remo Inc.
