Watch a demonstration of the Meinl String Cajon
Meinl Cajons come equipped with a built in adjustable sizzle effect. Strings that touch the frontplate on the inside of these box drums span from top to bottom, delivering a sensitive rattle. These strings can be adjusted to make sounds that fit a variety of musical applications. A patented integrated string mute system allows the musician to control the tension of the strings and gives the Cajon an ensured dry and crisp sizzle effect.
The premium fiberglass frontplate not only gives this Cajon a modern look, but allows for additional sound options as well. Adjustable top corners allow the musician to change the crash effect for further sound variety.
The Meinl string cajon has a resonating body made of rubber wood as well as the fiberglass frontplate. A padded sitting surface allows for a comfortable performance. Included with this Cajon are a professional nylon Cajon bag and an Allen wrench.
