Meinl Snare Cajon, White Ebony
Watch a demonstration of the Meinl Snare Cajon
With a resonating body made of the conventional and effective rubber wood, the Meinl Snare Cajon with White Ebony frontplate provides all that you could want in a snare cajon. With a padded sitting surface and rubber feet to protect your floors, as well as the bottom of your cajon, the Meinl Snare cajon is all you could ask for in comfortable playing, encouraging you to practice longer, until you could out-drum cajon lovers like Fleetwood Mac, Jennifer Lopez or Gaelic Storm.
Outfitted with all of the traditional Meinl innovations, the White Ebony cajon sacrifice no function for its beauty. The adjustable top corners regulate the amount of crash heard, with tightened screws creating mild crash, while loosened screws increase the strength of the crash.
Like all Meinl snare hand drums, the White Ebony front plate cajon contains a full set of snare wires, which are controlled by the knurled hand knob, located on the side of the drum's body. The knurled hand knob is precise and sensitive, and can be accessed while playing, allowing for changes in the amount of snare heard while playing. This variability creates a unique performance every time, completely suited to the drummer who set it. For cajon lovers who are not enamored of the effect of the snare, the knurled finger knob can turn it off completely.
