The Meinl pickup Cajon with Makah-Burl frontplate and Siam Oak resonating body is perfect for live performances. It is equipped complete with a DST pickup microphone and A1.2 preamp system with volume control from B-Band.
This active system includes a specially designed preamp, high quality endpin outlet jack and a durable 9-volt battery. The preamp system is light in mass, adding very little weight to the actual instrument itself.
The installed microphone system gives an amazingly clear and pure sound reproduction. It also provides for comfortable and easy playing in live performances. All the drummer has to do is plug in and play.
The Meinl pickup cajons come with adjustable sizzle effect with an integrated string mute system, giving this cajon a wide variety of sound options. Adjustable top corners also let the musician control the crash effect. A padded sitting surface allows maximum performance comfort.
Plug in and play like your favorite artists, whether they're the Dixie Chicks, Ben Harper, or Eric Clapton, all of whom have used the cajon for stage or television performances.
