Description

The Meinl Bongo Cajon is uniquely different. It delivers the sound one can expect from a traditional cajon, and with a playing surface that has high- and low pitch sound areas, traditional bongo patterns can be played on it as well.

Watch a demonstration of the Meinl Bongo Cajon

Watch the video above for a demonstration of Meinl artistry, provided by Stephan Maass, a master in cajon drumming. Maass uses a variety of Meinl Percussion Cajons, such as a drum with a recessed top, to create a sound akin to a castanet by striking along the sides of the box.
