Crafted of kiln dried, environmentally friendly Siam Oak, LP Generation III® Bongos offer a slightly larger head size with the large half of the bongos featuring a diameter of 9" instead of the more traditional 8 5/8". This results in additional bottom end response and greater volume.

Heads are produced from natural rawhide that has been specially treated to provide uniform opaque white color and softer touch. These bongos feature traditional rims and Cuban style bottom, both crafted from high strength steel. The 5/16" diameter tuning lugs have been carefully formed to hug the shell.
