Eddie is a main inspiration to today's players by way of his numerous, historic recordings with the giants of salsa.

It is only fitting that LP honors Eddie Montalvo with the introduction of the LP Accents Eddie Montalvo Signature Congas and Bongos. Finished in exclusive signature series graphics, the three Accents Montalvo drums and matching bongos are constructed from Siam oak, laid up in durable, resonant 3-ply shells.

Available in quinto, conga and tumba sizes, the drums stand 30” tall and are fitted with hand-selected natural rawhide skins that provide the drums with the range of deep tones and crisp slaps inherent in Eddie's technique. Comfort Curve II Rims ease player hand trauma and promote a natural feel. Reinforced LP Side Plates contribute to durability, while LP ProCare Integrated Shell Protectors prevent those side plates from damaging adjacent drums!
