First off....I believe that the Gon Bops California series bongos with Remo heads are the best sounding bongos available. Next, the quality of this 3 piece set-up is first class. the bass bongo is the only one I know of being produced this way, and the dw custom stand is second to none. This product is unique and sounds incredible. If you like bongos and plan to make them a focus in playing for enjoyment, for fun, just therapy, or serious professional use, don't bother starting out with less like so many others do including myself. Spend the extra money and go straight to the top of the line. These are simply the best....you'll be pleased...I promise!
